What a customer record is
A customer record keeps what a team knows about one customer in one place: who they are, every conversation with them, what was promised and what happens next. In many teams it lives in a CRM that reps fill in by hand after the call, so it holds what someone typed, not what the customer said. Pinpoint is building the record from the conversations themselves, with a target of November 2026: each call and text matched to its customer, one timeline, and next steps kept as tasks.

How it will work
- 01
Each conversation finds its customer
Every call and text will be matched to a customer by the exact phone number on it, and a number with no record will start one. When two records turn out to be the same person, someone on your team will merge them.
- 02
One timeline for each customer
A customer's calls and texts will sit on one timeline in the order they happened, with the moments worth hearing and the recording a click away. Email threads will join the same timeline when email review ships.
- 03
Next steps become tasks
A next step found in a call or text will become a task with an owner and a due date in one click, and the task will link back to the moment it came from.

Your CRM stays in step
Building · target December 2026
If your team keeps a CRM, Pinpoint will show what it says beside what the customer said, and a note, a task or a correction will be written to it only after a person approves it.
What a manager will see
- Every call and text with a customer on one timeline, with the moments worth hearing.
- Next steps as tasks, each with an owner, a due date and the moment it came from.
- Where each detail on the record came from: typed by a person or taken from a conversation.
- Notes from your team, kept in the order they were added and never overwritten.
Questions about the customer record
Something else? Ask on a walkthrough.
Is Pinpoint a CRM?
No. Pinpoint is conversation intelligence: it reviews your team's calls and texts. The customer record it is building will keep those conversations together for each customer, with their next steps as tasks. If your team keeps a CRM, it stays your system of record.
Can I see everything about a customer today?
Partly. Ask about any customer and the answer cites the calls and texts Pinpoint found for them, with each moment ready to play. The record itself, one timeline per customer with next steps as tasks, is building, with a target of November 2026.
How will calls and texts find the right customer?
By the exact phone number on each one. A number with no record will start one, and when two records turn out to be the same person, someone on your team will merge them. Nothing will be joined on a guess about a name.
Will calls be logged to my CRM automatically?
Not without approval. Pinpoint will propose a note and a task from a conversation, and a person will approve each one before it is written to your CRM. Approved write-back is building, with a target of December 2026.
Will email be on the timeline?
Yes, once email review ships. Email threads are not read yet, and email is building, with a target of December 2026. The record will start with calls and texts, and email threads will join the same timeline.
How can we see this on our own calls?
Start with the free 48-hour call review. Send 20 to 50 recorded calls and the report lists every promise and next step in them, each at the moment it was made, with every finding checked by a person.
