On the roadmap
Make the record match the conversation.
The CRM says what a rep typed. The conversation says what the customer actually said. This capability is built to put the two side by side and show where they disagree, so the record you manage from is true.
What crm intelligence is
CRM intelligence is the joining of a dealership's customer record to the conversations behind it, so a status, a note and a next step can be checked against what was actually said. Pinpoint has this on its roadmap. It is built to show where the record and the conversation disagree, which fields were never filled in, and which lead statuses do not match the last thing the customer said.
On the roadmap: the CRM is not connected today, and call and text intelligence are what is available now.
How it works
- 01
The record connects
A read connection to the CRM is planned, covering the leads, statuses, notes and tasks a manager works from. Which systems and which fields will be covered belongs to each integration, so nothing here promises that your CRM is already supported.
- 02
Records meet conversations
Each lead will be lined up with the calls, texts and emails that belong to it. The pairing will be based on verified identity from your sources, not on a guess, because a record joined to the wrong conversation is worse than no join at all.
- 03
Differences surface
Where the note says one thing and the recording says another, the difference will be raised with both sides shown: the typed line and the moment it should have matched. Empty next-step fields and statuses that the conversation does not support will be raised the same way.
- 04
A person corrects it
Nothing will be rewritten on its own. A correction will be proposed with its evidence, and a manager will decide whether it is filed. Writing back to the CRM belongs to approved actions, inside the permissions the dealership configures, with a receipt for each one.
What a manager sees
- A manager will see which leads have no next step at all.
- The CRM note and the moment it was supposed to describe, together.
- Lead statuses the conversations do not support, listed for review.
- A proposed correction, with its evidence, waiting for approval.
Questions about crm intelligence
Which CRM systems will you connect to?
Each connection has its own contract, and none is promised here. What the capability is built to do is read the leads, statuses, notes and tasks a manager works from, whatever system holds them. Treat nothing on this page as a statement that your CRM is already supported, because that is decided per integration.
Will it change my CRM data?
Not on its own. Reading comes first. Where a correction is worth making, it will be proposed with the moment from the conversation that supports it, and a manager will decide whether it gets filed. Writing back belongs to approved actions, inside the fields and permissions your dealership sets, with a receipt for each write.
If the note and the call disagree, what does that prove?
That the two do not match, and that the lead is worth a look. It does not establish that the rep was dishonest, that the sale was lost or that the customer never came in. Notes get typed fast between customers. The point is to find the record you would have managed from wrongly.
Why not just trust the CRM?
Because the CRM holds what somebody typed after the fact, and the recording holds what was actually said. Most of the time they agree. When they do not, the gap is where a lead quietly goes cold: a status that no longer fits, a next step nobody wrote down, a promise that never made it into the record.
Can I get any of this today?
Not the CRM side. Today you can investigate the conversations themselves and get cited answers about what customers said and what your team promised. CRM intelligence is on the roadmap, and when it lands it is built to sit on top of that same evidence rather than become a separate system to check.
