Platform / Voice agents

Being built now

Answer the calls nobody picked up.

Some calls ring out at lunch, on a Sunday, in the middle of a delivery. Voice agents are being built to answer those calls, take the conversation somewhere useful and hand off to a person when it is time.

What voice agents is

A sales voice agent is an AI that speaks with customers on the phone within set rules: it says what it is, it handles the calls it is allowed to handle, and it hands the conversation to a person when the customer needs one. Pinpoint is building voice agents that complement the team rather than replace it. Inbound, they are being built to answer only the calls the team missed. Outbound, they are being built to draft the call so a manager decides which ones go out.

Being built now: voice agents that answer the calls the team missed and draft outbound calls for a manager to approve.

How it works

  1. 01

    Missed calls only

The agent is being built to pick up where the phone would have rung out: after hours, during a rush, when nobody reached the line. A call your team answers stays your team's call. The agent is not in front of the phone; it is behind it.

  2. 02

    It says what it is

The agent is being built to tell the customer plainly that it is an assistant, and to hand the call to a person the moment the customer asks for one or the conversation needs one. Disclosure and handoff are part of the design, not a setting somebody forgets to turn on.

  3. 03

    Outbound is drafted

For calls going out, the agent is being built to prepare the list and the reason for each call: the quote nobody followed up, the appointment nobody confirmed. A manager will review the list and decide which calls go out. Nothing will dial on its own.

  4. 04

    The call comes back

Every agent call is being built to arrive in the same place as the rest: a recording, a transcript, what the customer wanted and what was promised. A missed call the agent answered is still a missed call by your team, and it will be visible as one.

What a manager sees

Evidence, approvals and permissions

Inbound, the agent is being built to answer only the calls your team missed, to say plainly that it is an assistant and to hand the call to a person when the customer asks. Outbound, it is being built to draft the calls so a manager decides which ones go out. Every agent call will arrive with its recording and transcript, and none of it will run outside the permissions your dealership configures at onboarding.

The AI layer never acts outside the approvals and permissions a dealership configures at onboarding. Inbound voice agents answer only missed calls; outbound calls are drafted by the AI and sent only when a manager approves them.

Questions about voice agents

Will the voice agent replace my reps?

No. It is being built to complement the team, not to stand in front of it. Inbound, it is being built to answer only the calls nobody picked up, so a call your team takes stays your team's call. Outbound, it will draft the call and a manager will decide which ones go out. Selling stays with your people.

Does the AI act on its own?

No. It is being built so that nothing runs outside the permissions your dealership sets at onboarding. Inbound answering will be limited to the calls your team missed. Outbound calls will be drafted and placed only after a manager approves them. Permissions will be narrowed or switched off at any time, and every agent call will arrive with its recording and transcript.

Can I put a voice agent on my line today?

No. Voice agents are being built now, not available now. What runs today is call and text intelligence, with cited investigation and proposed next steps. When the agents are ready, they are being built to start with the narrowest job there is: answering the calls that would otherwise have rung out.

Will the customer know it is an AI?

Yes. The agent is being built to say what it is rather than to imitate a person, and to hand the call to somebody on your team when the customer asks for one or the conversation calls for one. A customer who wants a human should get a human, and that is designed in rather than bolted on.

What will an answered call tell me, and what will it not?

It will tell you the phone got picked up, what the customer asked for and what the agent said, with the recording to check. It will not establish that an appointment was kept, that a customer visited or that revenue followed. An answered missed call is a conversation saved, not a sale recorded.
