A short agreed phrasing for a recurring moment in a conversation, such as asking for the appointment.

Definition
A word track is the sentence or two a team agrees on for a specific situation: the appointment ask, the response to a price question on the first call, the reply when a customer says they are just looking. It is not a full script and it is not read aloud.
Good tracks are short enough to remember under pressure and written in language the rep would use naturally.
Why it matters
Coaching advice such as be more assertive cannot be practiced or checked. A word track can be said out loud in a team meeting, used on the next call and verified on a recording the following week, which is what makes a change actually stick.
