Show rate

The share of set appointments where the customer actually arrives, calculated as appointments shown divided by appointments set.

Show rate measures how many booked visits turn into people standing in your store. Count the customer rather than the booking: a customer who reschedules once and then arrives is one appointment that showed, not two.

Show rate should be published next to set rate for each person. High set rate with low show rate usually means appointments are being agreed to rather than genuinely set, with vague times and no named person to ask for.

Why it matters for a sales manager

Show rate is the quality check on set rate. Without it, a manager who pushes for more appointments will get more appointments and no more traffic. It also points directly at fixable process: the specificity of the time, the reason to visit and the confirmation sequence.
