Questions about follow-up cadences
How many follow-up touches should a dealership lead get?
Enough to reach a decision, not enough to become noise. Each cadence on this page runs four to six steps over the days that matter for that situation, mixes text and calls, and stops the moment the customer answers with a decision.
Should follow-up be automated?
The reminders and the timing can be. The message the customer reads should still be specific to them, and anything that quotes a price, a payment or a trade value belongs to a person. Every cadence here identifies the sender and gives the customer a way to stop.
What ends a cadence?
A reply with a decision: a confirmed time, a reschedule, or a no. Each step lists the reply that stops it, so the next step never goes out to a customer who already answered.
